a very welcome breakLast year I was massively lucky enough to attend Welcome Home a workshop run by the unbelievably awesome Emma Case and Pete Smyth. This workshop was a major game changer for me, it took me back to my first spark of passion for photography and I met with a bunch of amazing likeminded people (the Homies!) At the end of April us homies went to Welcome Break (no not the motorway services) a retreat at Talton Lodge, Warwickshire. We played, relaxed, partied, took pictures and had a break from everything. This probably doesn't sound like much, but as a Photographer everything is an emotional roller coaster of the highs of shooting and the lows of hours of lonely editing and everything in-between and beyond. Being with other Photographers who are totally on the same wavelength is like being an alien and going for a ride on the mothership, totally awesome. p.s here are some pictures.
